Online fraud is on the rise these days. Let's find out how to identify
fake websites and e-mails so that you are not deceived.
Let's find out.➥
1. Use The Most Famous Company Names:- Hackers deceive people
by using big company names. If you come across any email or website
with the same name, don't click or visit it by mistake. It's all a hacker's trap.
2. Check The URL:- Before opening any website or e-mail, place the
mouse cursor over it. Now you will see a valid URL and hyperlink as
a popup, then click Next. This is how you can identify a fraudulent site.
3. Examine The Words Carefully:- Before opening any website or E-mail,
check the words written on them. This is because fake E-mails and words
on the website are misspelled. For example, if a company's site name is
'XYZ.com', then hackers are creating a site like 'Xyz .com'.
4. Do Not Provide Private Information:- Even if you receive an E-mail or
message in the name of a reputed company, do not provide them with
your personal information Password or personal data, Credit and Debit
card information and OTP, CVV code. By doing so,
you can prevent yourself from being deceived.
