Hacking has also increased in India during the Corona virus crisis. Google has found that some companies in India are trying to steal private and financial information from health organizations, individuals and consulting services by creating fake emails under the name of the World Health Organization.
According to a report by Google, government-backed hackers targeted 50 to 100 users in India in April. People from India are also being targeted in the US, Slovenia, Canada, Bahrain, Cyprus and the UK.
According to Google, hackers ask users to sign up by sending direct links to get information about Corona.
This link appears to belong to the WHO. When a user logs in, hackers get information such as private information, phone number. The company has warned users around the world about hacking by sending 1,755+ messages. Many YouTube channels have also been deleted.
The information came after the company's Threat Analytics Group tracked 270 groups in 50 countries. The purpose of these groups is to seize intellectual property, target social workers, spread cyber attacks and misinformation, and so on.
